The butter dish (HB 497B), designed by Bauhaus ceramist Werner Burri, impresses with its simple, rectangular shape and offers ample space on its flat plate and under the equally rectangular, bowl-shaped lid for butter, liver sausage, or other spreads. The large butter and cheese dish (HB 494B), with a diameter of 17 cm, offers ample space for Camembert, feta, or other cheeses, which are stored hygienically and elegantly under the nostalgic lid. Both containers are indispensable companions for the stylish breakfast table and embody the perfect fusion of Bauhaus design and functional ceramic art that has made Hedwig Bollhagen famous since 1934.
